Burning Coal Theatre Company of Raleigh, North Carolina is pleased to announce receipt
of a scholars hip grant from the Bruce Bowyer Foundation, based in Atlantic Beach, New York.

Burning Coal will in turn grant the scholarship funds to Lisa Betz of Raleigh to be used
toward her tuition in Burning Coal's summer adult education acting/scene study class.
Ms. Walters will enroll this fall in the Wayne State University graduate theatre studies
program. She has an undergraduate degree in theatre rom the University of Wyoming and is
originally from Nebraska. Ms. Betz is a founding member of New World Stage Theatre in
Raleigh, NC.
